You certainly tried your best under these difficult circumstances. However, several people are still upset, and it might be in your best interest to offer fee refunds to anyone who was erroneously charged double for single day tickets after all the refreshing. Otherwise, it looks likes you guys made double the profits on this whole ordeal. Since most people reported an average wait of 2-3 hours of "refreshing" (based on your instructions here: http://twitter.com/#!/ticketleap/status/33960736321441792), you & Comic Con/Epic have a great opportunity to (cheaply) improve PR & moral by refunding the extra fees for anyone who was accidentally double-charged for single-day tix. It's cheaper than an angry mob asking their hungry lawyer friends to look into interstate commerce laws. No one's saying it was your intention to double-charge people, but you can make a good-faith action to prove your company's integrity.

Well I admit I was pretty mad at first, but then I was finally able to use my left brain hemisphere again. With an influx of nerds and geeks at an international level all trying to get the same thing, things will get crazy regardless of precautions taken, and even nerds/geeks can be affected by rage (look at what happened in Hall H last year). It's neat to provide so much information, and after regaining my ability for rational thought I forgive you TicketLeap ;P

I wholeheartedly believe the cloud can scale to meet our nerd needs and beyond. I just think we got bit by an unfortunate bug that could have happened whether you are in the cloud or not.

Beautiful. I work for a hosting company (one that directly rivals Amazon) and I totally understand exactly what happened now. I got tickets, but only because I figured you guys were running on cloud servers so I knew the more requests I made the more chances I have at getting one to go through. It's unfortunate that cloud hosting still isnt scalable enough to handle a nerd mob though...
